The Missouri WIC (Women, Infants and Children) program provides supplemental food, health care referrals, nutrition education and breastfeeding promotion and support to eligible pregnant, breastfeeding and postpartum women, infants and children up to age five. Fathers, grandparents, guardians and foster parents may also apply for benefits for the children living in their household.

The goal of WIC is to improve nutritional health of participants. To meet this goal, the WIC program provides nutrition education, breastfeeding promotion and support, medical care referrals and nutritious foods that are high in protein and iron. To find out more information, click here.
